LGBTQ Historical Tour Soho

Portait of Simeon Solomon

Following on from our partnership in 2014 with The Jewish Museum London and Rainbow Jews, as part of this year's LGBT History Month we are delighted to again be running a special tour, adding additional content to compliment the current tour, highlighting LGBTQ Jewish heritage in Soho, as well as Soho's broader Jewish community.

The tour covers 300 years of LGBTQ history, and gives an overview of the many different communities who have settled in the area, including French Communards, Huguenots, and the vibrant Jewish community in Soho. Find out more about the characters who have lived challenging and inspiring lives, making unique contributions to science, the arts, culture, the community, politics and LGBTQ rights. Appreciate the diversity of Soho’s culture and history amidst the vibrancy of its streets today.

It costs £10 (£5 concessions) with the proceeds of the tour helping support the work of centred.
