LGBTQ Historical Tour Soho

Portrait of Gluck
As part of LGBT History Month 2014 we are delighted to be partnering with the Rainbow Jews oral history & archive project and The Jewish Museum London adding additional content to compliment the current tour, highlighting LGBTQ Jewish heritage in Soho, as well as Soho's broader Jewish community.

The tour covers 300 years of LGBTQ history, and gives an overview of the many different communities who have settled in the area, including French Communards, Huguenots, and the vibrant Jewish community in Soho. Find out more about the characters who have lived challenging and inspiring lives, making unique contributions to science, the arts, culture, the community, politics and LGBTQ rights. Appreciate the diversity of Soho’s culture and history amidst the vibrancy of its streets today.

Booking not necessary, just turn up on the day. Wrap up warm as the tours take placeoutdoors!

Meet outside Soho Theatre at 2pm

It costs £10 (£5 concessions) with the proceeds of the tour helping support the work of centred.
